I completed SAICA articles and i am currently working as audit supervisor, managing a team of 6 trainees. My duties include administrative duties of the audit team. Doing WIP analysis and preparing invoices to be billed to clients for engagements performed. Planning the audit engagements and allocating work amongst the team. Leading the audit engagement. Preparing annual financial statements for clients, in compliance with IFRS or IFRS for SME's. Submitting tax returns if the clients requests us to do so. I am currently working towards attaining CTA with UNISA. My goal is to become a Chartered Accountant. Auditing has opened doorways to the financial industry but my interests lie financial accounting and reporting.
