I am a positive, personable individual and am able to perform a variety of tasks in an ever-changing environment. I possess a calm attitude and a superb understanding of learners' needs. As a Psychology major, I am invested in Life Orientation as a subject because I believe Life Orientation is probably the most important subject. This is because Life Orientation is central to the holistic development of learners. Life Orientation addresses skills, knowledge and values for personal, social, intellectual, emotional and physical growth of learners and it is an opportunity for me, as a teacher, to take the subject and really expose learners to essential life skills, debate and opinions that will help them grow emotionally and socially. I am a team player and willing to adapt to an ever-changing environment. I have a tremendous love for children and hope to instill a love for learning and a desire for constant knowledge within each learner. I am willing to help with extra-curricular activities that are offered by the school, such as netball and athletics, although I have little experience in these activities, I am willing to learn and take coaching courses for which ever activity is required of me.
