I am a Professional registered Agricultural/Civil engineer (B.Eng. (Hons) degree) with +34 years of experience in bulk, domestic, rural water supply, sanitation and irrigation projects from local municipalities to remote rural areas. I have successfully managed a number of international, regional and township infrastructure, alternative energy installations (wind farms), water supply and irrigation planning and design projects and has developed and optimised his engineering planning, design and construction management skills, focusing on bulk water supply, waste water transport, water and waste water reticulation, other water supply (boreholes & seawater desalination), mining process water & recycling and irrigation schemes. Water projects include pump stations, reservoirs, pipelines, earthen/concrete dams, irrigation systems, mining/domestic/rural water supply and treatment systems (desalination plants), boreholes, etc. Sanitation projects included municipal sewer systems and rural low cost VIP sanitation systems. I have worked in Lesotho, Swaziland, Botswana, Mozambique and South Africa and on projects in Kenya & Nigeria. Clients included Government Institutes and Private Mining Companies.
