As a creative and successful communication and media professional with 7 years of implementing content and communication strategy, producing material for digital communications guiding PR, marketing, and communications initiatives. I am well prepared to offer these strengths—and many others to make a significant impact. I currently hold a bachelor’s degree in Journalism, BA Honours in Publishing Studies from the University of Witwatersrand and currently studying towards a Master’s degree in Development Studies through the University of the Free State, further assets that make me a prime candidate for the position. My professional experience includes managing She Conquers social media pages which were the Deputy presidency’s national campaign and maintained its positive public image over a two-year period. I have also worked at Wits Reproductive Health Initiatives a content manager on a Pepfar funded Mhealth project where I represented the project with key stakeholders. I also have had exposure to international health NGO’s such as (UNAIDS) Regional Support Team for Eastern and Southern Africa,(MSF) Doctors without Borders as a communication intern and more recently contributed for Australian Awards as an external writer and worked at Wilderness Safaris as a communication copywriter. I have also travelled to Namibia and Botswana which equipped me with diverse cultural environments.
